The Swedish brand Oscar Magnusson launches a new collection, called 237. It’s a new concept, that offers interesting shapes in a thin acetate. I’m a big fan of thin frames with a nice shape, so I really like this concept. For once you can wear a big acetate frame without allowing the frame become too dominant.
…So why don’t go a little bit more crazy and add some color to the face?
When I was walking by the beautiful canal in Kreuzberg in Berlin I met Lennart who was wearing the great Cutler And Gross frame 0692.
When in Berlin make sure you visit the cool and newly renovated MYKITA Shop in Mitte on Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 6.
Awesome colors in a pyramid.
Frida is checking out the frames.
We met the lovely Optometrist Alina.
All storage is from old Swiss Air boxes. Très chic!
We were here.
Frida in Ornella.
A Collaboration with Rad Hourani resluted in these Mylon frames called Rad. It’s a crazy shape and I dont think you could do this in acetate since the lens is slid in from above. Be sure to check out Mylon, we’ll probably see some great things in this material!
Jaques-Yves, another Mylon Collaboration with Bernhard Willhelm.
Mirror, mirror on the wall…
Me wearing vintage l.a. Eyeworks “Cornu”.
A classic sunglass that have been seen on Susan Sarandon as Louise in “Thelma & Louise”.
A feminine and classy shade!
Bonocle has been travelling around Europe so you can soon expect posts of many new people and frames. Watch this space!
Lovley picture of Niclas, riding a bicycle in Stockholm, wearing Ray-bans. Photo taken by Sofia.
My great friend Frida took this picture during her vacation in Spain. She’s wearing a thick round acetate frame from Erdem for Cutler And Gross called Tomoko in Tortoise with Dark Green lenses.
My friend Aleks wearing a lovley yellow dress with a classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer.
We’ve been writing about Ray-Ban Wayfarer a lot, but that’s because it’s a great unisex alround sunglass! Besides, it’s a great frame to put corrected sun lenses in. Both Aleks and I bought us a pair wayfarer with corrected sun lens this summer and that’s definitely one of the best buy this year!
I think everybody should have a corrected sunglass, to see perfect even in the sunshine.
These two quys looked extremley cool with their tattoos and black shades, from Mosley Tribes and Minimarket.
