Jasmin, Garrett and Elena
Wow! What a weekend! Me and Jasmin have been hanging out with these amazing people the whole weekend, showing them the very best of Stockholm. Garrett and Elena from Garrett Leight California Optics and Graz from Graz Studios are here in Stockholm to celebrate Bågar & Glas 30’s anniversary with trunk shows and anniversary party.
Pictures from the trunk shows will come up tomorrow. If in Stockholm, don’t miss out visiting Bågar & Glas tomorrow or Tuesday to meet Graz himself and see the limited edition sunglasses he has made specially for Bågar & Glas. Looking forward!

Happy guy working at SPRMKT in round glasses.
I had a great weekend in Amsterdam! Among a lot of things, I visited an awesome concept store called SPRMKT. They have a really nice selection of clothing from brands such as Damir Domar among others. Also, they have a small but nice selection of vintage Ray-Bans in very good condition.

Last night Barbara and I had the privilage of having dinner with some of the most interesting and influential people in eyewear.

Look at Jasmin Yaya’s wonderful Eyewear Hanger – Amazing. It’s very inspiring to store all your eyewear visible, to not wear the same old frames every single day…

Amazing color combination by Salt, well known for their classic shapes made of the finest acetate.
I love to see new acetate versions of tortoise, like this color from Salt named “vintage blue tortoise”. Big up!
Thanks to Ryan Bowling from Black Optical for the great photo. Follow him on instagram for nice eyewear updates: @rmbowling
Having a good time at Östermalmstorg in Stockholm, wearing one of my favorite glasses “Phoebe” in gold/pink from MYKITA.
I never thought I would wear a pink frame as an every-day-thing, but the nuance of the pink is so light and thin which makes it very wearable to any outfit.
Yoko Ono with Linda Farrow sunnies together with John Lennon.
I love this picture, can’t get enough looking at it!
I’m so amazed about the story of Linda Farrow. With her roots as a clothing designer, she was the first person to put glasses into fashion and kind of the first woman to enter the very men manipulated optical business whatsoever. After designing glasses for the biggest fashion houses she established her own company 1970. She became very quick famous for her fashionable eyewear designs, worn by Yoko Ono among others.
A couple of years later she laid down the business to focus on her family instead. Now, decades later, the Linda Farrow business is active again. This time by her own son and his girlfriend, who came up with the idea after finding an old stock of vintage Linda Farrow eyewear. Today Linda Farrow is a worldwide brand again, still focused on eyewear as a fashion item. Besides the Linda Farrow vintage line, they also do collaborations with the fashion world and lately they’ve even created their very own line: Linda Farrow Lux. A prestigious high-end line, using the finest materials only.
Found these pictures on Point of People. Lovely pictures. Awesome styles. Makes me wish more of them wore glasses…
