James Dean had such great eyewear. Here are a few. Enjoy!

Carl under the water in his new frames from Garrett Leight.
I love the concept of the Garrett Leight collections: contemporary design of retro shapes with a modern finish. Instead of creating way to many models they offer a handful of options but all with extremely good comfort, fit and best of all: different color and size options. The Garrett Leight Hampton is available in 3 different sizes and 6 colours. Carl already has the frame in two of the colours: Leopard Tortoise and Sage (the one he is wearing in the photos).

You can buy the Garrett Leight Hampton online (here) or at selected independent optical stores and fashion boutiques worldwide, (Stockists).
This old man blew my mind. He was standing in the middle of nowhere selling dried fruit. Beautiful.

I had one of the coolest moments in my life visiting the Sahara desert in Tunisia. Probably the most amazing place on earth, mind blowing.
I spent an afternoon in the desert, riding camels and playing around in the sand. I don’t even know how to explain the feeling. It’s a very incredible feeling watching the infinitive view of desert. Sand, sand and more sand. Very calming and beautiful.
Me, Babba Canales, riding camels with my vintage Marie Claire sunnies.

During my trip to Tunisia I took 2 days for going on a road trip. One of the highlights from the trip was definitely visiting Star Wars land, I had no clue Star Wars was filmed in the desert of Tunisia(!). So cool!
I spent the day together with my latest addition of sunglasses: these awesome shades from Hyde’s. I don’t think they’ve reached the stores yet, but watch out for updates because their latest collection is really awesome.

Pro tip: put prescription lenses in your sunglasses. It’s the best thing to do before a vacation. For a road trip spending the days sleeping in a bus, visiting the desert and very dry environments it’s simply impossible wearing contacts without getting your eyes extremely dry. I’m therefore very happy I had the time to put prescription lenses to these sunnies, and best thing: they look exactly like the original lenses.

Amigos, I’ve been in sunny Tunisia the past week enjoying an amazing vacation! Riding camels in the Sahara desert, going on jeep safari, visiting berber people, Star Wars land, spending hours by the pool and simply wearing tons of sunglasses.
I will share my sunny moments of the week here soon. While waiting please enjoy this very lol gif of me wearing a selection of the sunglasses I brought to Tunisia. Stay tuned!

LOVE these awesome sunnies from Hyde’s latest collection. Made of the eco friendly bio acetate “M49” from Italian Mazzucchelli. Huge, round and Zebra feeling. Lovin’ it!

Big up for Bågar & Glas’ nice looking window display in Stockholm. Inspiring, playful and some of our favorite brands are featured. Yellowish is a great choice of color for your sunnies this spring!
