New Moscot

At the Silmo fair in Paris last week I had the chance of meeting the awesome guys at Moscot. The New York-based eyewear brand had a few new models to show along with their classic ones.

Beautiful decorations. I love the heads covered with old newspaper.

New Leisure Society

Last week I had the chance of looking at a few new frames from Leisure Society. The Leisure Society frames are made of the finest materials such as titanium, japanese acetate, gold and now horn. You can read more about Leisure Society here and here.

Here you can see the fine materials used for making this frame: acetate front, sides of the temples covered with horn and gold plated titanium.

This collage shows very well what Leisure Society stands for. Classic, elegant, beautiful yet functional.

I just love the new colors from l.a. Eyeworks, especially their fading colors such as these below:

l.a. Eyeworks will release a book of all their wonderful portrait ad campaigns shot by Greg Gorman with the text “A face is like a work of art. It deserves a great frame.” Here are a few of those amazing shots. I love that they really pushed the blacks in the pictures.
