We’re so happy to finally introduce a special project we’ve been working on for months: MYKITA for BONOCLE!

We are very proud to present a limited edition of the MYKITA & Bernhard Willhelm model „Janis“. Exclusively available now via Bonocle in a limited edition of 10 pairs with special colours, chosen by us: matt-silver with violett gradient sun lenses from Carl Zeiss.

This is a true Bonocle style!

Stay tuned for the whole story and product pictures.

The product will be launched on our Online Store THIS WEEK.

Tictail Block Market

Tomorrow it’s Grolsch Block Party and Bonocle is present at the Tictail Block Market at Nytorget on Skånegatan in Stockholm.

We’ve longed for this moment for a long time now and are excited to finally present Bonocle’s latest collaboration with a well known eyewear brand! Come by to be the first one to see and try the new frames!

pssst…! If you want to catch a sneak peak of the frame you can check our facebook page.

INTRODUCING ZANZAN EYEWEAR

For AW2012 Zanzan has drawn from the beautiful and the exotic everywhere to produce a collection of real head-turning sunglasses. The collection is handmade in England and available in limited edition at www.farfetch.com.

On the pictures you see their sunglasses Mizaru in a light transparent yellow – a true bonocle favorite! Love the combination of a short haircut, blood red lips and the Zanzan yellow sunnies. See more of their things on their inspiring Pinterest!

From La Champangeria in Barcelona With Love!

Cheers from La Champangeria in Barcelona!

One of my favorite spots in Barcelona is definitely La Champangeria in Ciutat Vella. Probably the most authentic bar in Barcelona, where you drink cava and eat tapas all day for incredible nice prices. You can also buy bottles of cava and delicates form their small shop in the back of the bar.

On the Street… Barcelona Market

When visiting Barcelona you should make sure to pass by the Mercat Gòtic de Antiguitats – an antique market in the Gothic area of Barcelona with really nice stuff. Not the cheapest, but a very nice selection of antique items.

I noticed this girl when I was there looking for the perfect Soda Syphon last week. She looked perfectly city chic and I just had to ask for a picture! I specifically love the interesting and unusual color nuance of her shades.

Inspiration of the day – Working Opticians

20120808-112330.jpg

This is my favorite eyewear advertising picture of all times. Made by Oliver Peoples, sending out the message of handmade products by Working Opticians. Simply amazing, as the brand Oliver Peoples was founded by Larry Leight – an optician himself. It all started with selling vintage frames in his boutique and became later on à own eyewear brand with worldwide recognition.
