New Marni

The new Marni frames I saw in Paris are probably the best collection so far. They are still very feminine and colorful but slightly larger, which will make them more weareable. The colors are red, blue, turquoise, yellow, green, puple, brown, beige and pastels. Most frames are a combination of transparent and opaque, matte and glossy or two-tone colored.

I instantly found my favorites:

Look at the fine details.

Love the color combination. No one does it like Marni.

Super awesome. Like a smiley face.

Beautiful matte frames.

Another favorite of mine.

MYKITA News

The other day I visited the Swedish agent for MYKITA and had a look at the news. I especially fell in love with these ones below:

I’m a big fan of thin frames in crazy shapes and once again MYKITA succeeded designing the seasons coolest eyewear.

Other positive news is that all their new temples can be bent down behind the ears like this:

“A face is like a work of art. It deserves a great frame.” – l.a. Eyeworks

I just love the new colors from l.a. Eyeworks, especially their fading colors such as these below:

l.a. Eyeworks will release a book of all their wonderful portrait ad campaigns shot by Greg Gorman with the text “A face is like a work of art. It deserves a great frame.” Here are a few of those amazing shots. I love that they really pushed the blacks in the pictures.
