Swedish WeSC teamed up with ItalianĀ Super for their handmade sunglasses. The style Moose comes in black, clear and tortoise.
I really like the details such as the angular lenses, the inside print of the temples and I especially like the texture of the matte tortoise frame. The gradient lenses are Zeiss wich is a wellknown lens manufacturer and leading in optics. I’m very nerdy about these details but these things really makes a big difference. This is great quality all through. Great job WeCS and Super!
Bonocle.com couldn’t go to the Mido fair in Milano this weekend, but we are so excited about the new stuff we were told was shown there! Of course we’ll share everything new and exciting with you as soon as it arrives.
Meanwhile take a look at one of the things we’re excited about: Oliver Peoples Vintage frames. Classics such as the O’Malley and OP-505 made in Japan.

London based Cutler And Gross has yet another collaboration with a fashion brand. This spring they’ve collaborated with Cacharel:Ā It’s one frame (Cutler And Gross’ own M0737?) in four different colors: Watermelon, Lemon, Nude and Pink. This spring I’m especially fond of the nude colors but pink is very sweet too.

Ralph Lauren made these fun retro key hole sunglasses inĀ zebra and houndstooth print. Getting the matching purse is over doing it tough!
Earlier this week we stopped by Vasuma‘s awesome head office and showroom in Old Town, Stockholm.

Cute Boy Band Photo: Vasuma Inc.
Vasuma Inc. is a Stockholm based brand founded by the cool guys Jan Vana, Steffen Sundstrƶm and Lars Malmsten. In 2007 they had their first eyewear line. Their eyewear collection, which has both optical and sun frames, is unisex, young, large and cool.
Fun fact: The English bullies’ favorite phrase “Four eyes” isĀ “Eyewear snake” (Glasƶgonorm) toĀ the Swedish bullies’. Therefore all of Vasuma’s frames are named after snakes. This is the eyewear snakes getting their revenge!
At Vasuma’s office we talked about the process of making a frame. There are many steps to reach the final product. As for any product to hold great quality, fit, style all of the steps have to work smothly. Some of our favorite Vasuma frames.
Vasuma is pretty new in eyewear but has already managed to establish their style and quality. This spring they’ll be at Mido for their first time and Bonocle wishes Vasuma all the best!
As you might know by now, we have been visiting Vasuma to look at their latest news. Here is one of their coolest sunglasses, in a very special color: plum.
First of all, isn’t it a great name? Almost Barbara ;). Second, it’s perfectly circular and has a soft purple nuance. Ā Me like!
Yesterday Jasmin and I went to visit the Vasuma guys in Old Town, Stockholm. They showed us their latest collection and told us a lot about their brand values, which we’ll tell you more about later. Now, I’ll show you one of my favorite sunglasses from the new collection:
I’m specifically fond of the green-tortoise one, it reminds me about the army look that we have shown for you before (HERE).
More to come!
We had a wig party Saturday and I just had to wear my Vintage Alberto Puccini with my blonde wig. Great night out with the girls!
The quality of vintage frames is usually excellent. I wish glasses still had that great quality.
I think some eyewear brands such asĀ Dita andĀ Barton Perreira have that same texture and perfect finish as the vintage ones, but it’s rare. Unfortunately clothing brands rarely make high quality frames.
