Most men dress pretty much the same at the red carpet but Samuel L. Jackson showed up in a red velvet tux and super nice round glasses. Nice!

Congratulations to all the winners and to the nominees for the The 85th Academy Awards! Although not many tend to wear their glasses for the red carpet, a few did – and they looked great! Last year we saw many more. I didn’t see any women with glasses though, did you?
Christoph Waltz – Winner of Actor in a Supporting Role – DJANGO UNCHAINED
Rick Carter – Winner of Production Design – LINCOLN
Jack Nicholson with winners George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Ben Affleck in the press room at the 85th Academy Awards. Jack Nicholson’s sunglasses give him great style!
Winners Paul Epworth and Adele Adkins with Richard Gere in the press room. Richard Gere has kept his very light rimless glasses.

Apparently I’m not the only one loving the MYKITA “Janis” sunnies, so do Beyonce. And she looks awesome in those shades perfectly matched with her cool dress. Loving the Janis sunnies even more now…
How it feels to use the Google Glass. To take a photo you just say “OK, Glass” to activate the headset and then say “take a picture”. Amazing!

Got this birthday wish from my friend Alejandro! Thanks 🙂
Lovely photo from the 20’s found here. Not that different from today’s eyewear fashion, almost 100 years later!

Oskar Pernefeldt is studying Visual Communication at Beckman’s College of Design in Stockholm. He’s wearing the glasses he had during his military service.

Last weekend he exhibited his creative work at The Beckman’s Christmas Market. It’s several different tags describing why Santa couldn’t deliver the gift personally and had to consult the “Santa Post”. Along with the excuse tag comes two hand perforated self adhesive stamps. He made a few for kids and a few more suitable for adults.
