Oliver Peoples Sunglasses SS13
The new sunglasses from Oliver Peoples are very chic, the details are delicate and female styles are cat shaped.
I love these fine details in the metal on the Annaliese!
The acetate used for Mande is really nice and the thickness of the frame really brings the contrasts out!
Well, hello matte teal Corie, matching my nailpolish! Very 80’s!
Light and transparent acetate and dark faded lenses makes a great combo! Love the three studs on the Afton.
3 Bonocle Favorites from Ray-Ban
As some of you might know by now, Bonocle simply loves mirror lenses! Last week I posted a blog post of me sporting the cool Ray-Ban mirror aviator, today we’re showing you our three favorite pieces form the current Ray-Ban collection.
The Aviator!
The never dying aviator in happy, cutting edge colours! Mod number: RB3025
Colors: Green (112/19), Red (112/69) and Blue (112/17)
The Clubmaster!
Another never dying model! This time in a perfect match of summer colours. Mod number: RB3025
Colour: Beige/Orange with blue mirror lenses (110116)
The ERIKA!
I think we all had enough of the wayfarer at this point. For you seeking for something in that style but in a updated version – go for Erika. Thinner, more feminine, yet classic. Model number: RB4171
Colour: Matte brown/nude
There is a male version of ERIKA, called CHRIS. Very nice as well!
On the Street…Döbelnsgatan, Stockholm
Hannah Arnhög in her new matte tortoise Miu Miu sunglasses!

New Marni
The new Marni frames I saw in Paris are probably the best collection so far. They are still very feminine and colorful but slightly larger, which will make them more weareable. The colors are red, blue, turquoise, yellow, green, puple, brown, beige and pastels. Most frames are a combination of transparent and opaque, matte and glossy or two-tone colored.
I instantly found my favorites:
Look at the fine details.
Love the color combination. No one does it like Marni.
New Graz
In Paris I met Graz Mulcahy, one of my favorite eyewear designers. Awesome to finally meet him!
You can tell he’s been working hard because he had many of new great frames to show, both sunglasses and optical. They’re beautiful, bold and fun. The colors are tortoise, gray, black and a few matte ones.
Great collection, can’t wait to see people wear them!
On his nose: A new Graz frame. On his neckline: A Garrett Leight sunglass.
I’m also very excited about the new glasses with Windsor rings around the metal on the front, like the one below:
I have a pair of the Joel frame (like the one below) that i love because they are bold and perfectly round. I am very happy that Graz also makes them in titanum now, so they’re much lighter! They come as sunframes and optical.
Graz also made this genius poster showing in a humorous and detailed way how glasses are made:
If you din’t know, now you know. Temples are boxed in with a canon a few times.
Matte VS Polished
Lately we’ve seen lots of matte acetate frames. This frosty texture adds an extra dimension to the frame and gives it a complete new look. It softens the dark colors and feels very comfortable against the skin. Take a look!
