Bailey from Barton Perreira’s Spring/Summer 2013 look really nice with that metal bar on top.
MYKITA showed such a great collection at the SILMO fair in Paris this October!
Cool new colors such as matte red, green and cobalt blue, accent colors such as neon pink and violet combined with large round shapes is a hit!
Barbara Canales in matte red sunglasses from MYKITA.
I really love the shape and thickness of this frame!
Super ultra thin and light – yet durable!
It’s fun to have a splash of a bold color and it works really well when it’s this thin!
A new acetate color, here you can really see the transparent parts which I love about it!
Amazing cobalt blue color! I want to see these in clear lenses!
The l.a. Eyeworks booth really popped out at this year’s SILMO fair in Paris. Bold colors in happy patterns and awesome sculptures covered it all! FUN!
The amazing Brent Zerger, looking even more handsome every day.
I strongly believe in these bold smilghtly curved clubmaster style frames. You can always use some more eyebrows!
The awesome Silverman frame. Love this thick metal frame!
The handsome Aaron made the super surreal sculptures that adorned the l.a.Eyeworks booth at SILMO!
The shape of Garrett Leight and McNeairy’s round metal frame is perfect. The collection, two metal frames made in Japan and one acetate made in America were first seen at Mark McNairy’s SS13 runway show last week.
“We looked back at the incnspicuous weirdos, maniacs, creeps, and people that don’t give a damn what anyone thinks.” McNairy says. Think guys like Aristotle Onasis, Charles Bukowski, Allen Ginsberg, Groucho Marx, even Donald Sutherland as Hawkeye in MASH.
I love the temple tip loop.

The new Oliver Peoples Kincaid has all the great details of a slightly smaller feminine aviator. It’s not droopy, the top bar is perfectly curved and the titanium finish is slightly matte.
Meet the new line of the Moscot Originals – not only made of Metal but also inspired of Metal Music! Really cool, yet classic. My favorite is the one I’m wearing in the picture – Mendel in Gold with 30% Violet Tinted Lenses.
Bright colors! Bold shapes! Fun and Crazy. New yet timeless. Once you go Theo it’s hard to go back!
This is how I would describe Belgian eyewear brand Theo. The frames are sturdy and durable, the styles are bold and hard to place in a timeframe.
Theo had custom made Belgian chocolate made in a shape of a pair of round spectacles.
Love you right back!
When in Berlin make sure you visit the cool and newly renovated MYKITA Shop in Mitte on Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 6.
Frida is checking out the frames.
We met the lovely Optometrist Alina.
All storage is from old Swiss Air boxes. Très chic!
A Collaboration with Rad Hourani resluted in these Mylon frames called Rad. It’s a crazy shape and I dont think you could do this in acetate since the lens is slid in from above. Be sure to check out Mylon, we’ll probably see some great things in this material!
Jaques-Yves, another Mylon Collaboration with Bernhard Willhelm.
