They’re inspired by Iris Apfel – maybe you recognize the shape? It’s the same shape that came as an optical frame for AW12, which Jasmin wrote about (here).

Swedish Eyewear Brands at Sthlm Fashion Week

Oscar Magnuson “Twiggy” at Swedish MAYLA SS13 Fashion Show. The sunglasses will be available for SS13 in blue, brown and white.

Vasuma collaborated with Swedish label Lagom Sthlm for a limited edition sunglasses. They will be available in cream and black for SS13.

My newest sunglasses are named “Coco” after Coco Chanel, from Swedish Oscar Magnuson.

Love the cream white nuance together with the faded brown sun lenses. I’m matching them perfectly well with my leather bag from Swedish Sanqvist.

The Swedish brand Oscar Magnusson launches a new collection, called 237. It’s a new concept, that offers interesting shapes in a thin acetate. I’m a big fan of thin frames with a nice shape, so I really like this concept. For once you can wear a big acetate frame without allowing the frame become too dominant.

…So why don’t go a little bit more crazy and add some color to the face?

For all the Oscar Magnuson fans…

The Swedish eyewear brand has launched a free iPhone app, where you can see the latest collection of spectacles and sunglasses but also follow all the news on their blog. The app is easy to handle and it has a clean and sharp look – just like the Oscar Magnuson design.
