Garrett Leight & Mark McNairy
The shape of Garrett Leight and McNeairy’s round metal frame is perfect. The collection, two metal frames made in Japan and one acetate made in America were first seen at Mark McNairy’s SS13 runway show last week.
“We looked back at the incnspicuous weirdos, maniacs, creeps, and people that don’t give a damn what anyone thinks.” McNairy says. Think guys like Aristotle Onasis, Charles Bukowski, Allen Ginsberg, Groucho Marx, even Donald Sutherland as Hawkeye in MASH.
I love the temple tip loop.

From Skateboards to Sunglasses – Vuerich B.

Pictures taken by Merituuli Saario, at Brillenschneiderei in Berlin.
Sunglasses made of skateboards – how cool?! Love the recycle thinking and the unique color combinations the frames get from the skateboards.
This is Vuerich B, from Barcelona (my favorite city on top of everything).

Under the Tree… Tina Reichert, Berlin

Tina looking stunning with her wonderful skirt and big black sunnies “Esmeralda” from MYKITA.
I specially like the gradient of the lenses, it really makes the sunnies look alive. Always a good choice for big sunnies, then they don’t look to big on you.
