Right now I’m on vacation in Spain. The other day I wore my craziest sunglass and had a really good time. The model name is “Janis”, named after Janis Joplin, from MYKITA. They’re super gold, but also very cool and fun with the round shape and mirror lenses.
This Acne Resort 2012 collection is very 40’s and 50’s ispired with great quality garnments such as organza, tafetta and silk mixed with denim in vibrant colors such as pumpkin, plum, yellow and azure.
I just love it when the runway styles include a good looking pair of glasses to really get the finished look!

Last Wednesday Vasuma had an awesome summer party at F12 here in Stockholm. Dj Zoulias and Dj Stretch Armstrong played really great music, the drinks were fresh and the crowd was exceptionally cool this evening.

I met Harrison Miya who was wearing a pair of Black Vasuma Bushmaster frames. The super talented Harrison was taking pictures at the party. He is currently making a film and is in the band Capetown. Listen to their great song Mr. Telephone.
I also met cool Ann-Valerie with her fun Jeremy Scott inspired glasses.

I love the texture of Claire Goldsmith’s frames, you can really feel the quality of the acetate by holding them in your hands. Quality is always difficult to judge only by a picture, specially when it comes to acetate.
Despite that, I hope you can at least imagine the lustre of the texture by the photos above.
