MYKITA X Bernhard Wilhelm

Photos:Â MYKITA
MYKITA and Bernahrd Wilhelm teamed up once more for another sunglass called Violetta.
This Psychadelic frame is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a sunglass: large, fun gradient colors and LIGHT! They come in thsese two cool color combinations. I love the gold with the green/pink lenses, the green looks like eye shadow and the pink looks like rouge!

Dita Lancier
Dita has launched a new luxury sunglass collecten called Lancier. They come in 5 cool styles and are all hand made in Japan. The quality is exceptional, as always from Dita.
Dita Lancier is something for all the gentlemen who are looking for a pair of real solid sunglasses.
The lenses have nearly super power quality. There are three types of lenses, each designed for a different activity. Each type of lens has a symbol of the intended activity.
- Grey Polarized for sailing.
- G-15-Non_Polarized for flying.
- Brown Polarized for driving.
All frames come with both standard straight temples and wrap around temples and are changeable with just a push on a button!
Just like when buying a really good watch all of the individually numbered frames come in a big box including a lovely vintage looking leather case, cleaning cloth, skrewdriver, looped temples and a warranty card.

Big enough?

As you might know by now, both Jasmin and I have a big passion for round glasses. These ones are extremely big, but also extremely cool.
…Big, bigger, biggest!
Garrett Leight continues his fathers legacy
Finally we had the pleasure to see the Garrett Leight‘s very first eyewear collection. As a son of the founder of Oliver Peoples, Larry Leight, he has chosen to extend his fathers legacy in designing classic spectacles. Garrett Leight’s collection has the same tasteful finish as the legendary eyewear brand Oliver Peoples. But even though all the frames are very classic and we can clearly see the heritage from his father, he has added a new touch by using unique colors.
What do you think about the collection?
Oliver Peoples Vintage
Finally, I had the pleasure to see the whole Oliver Peoples Vintage collection in real life. As we’ve been mentioning before it’s a limited edition collection containing 3 classic models: OP-505, Oliver Peoples very first frame, O’Malley, the famous frame worn by Christian Bale in the movie “American Psycho”, Â and OP-1955, with it’s significant plastic temple in another color than the front.

The whole Oliver Peoples Vintage collection

I really love the whole vintage concept, that even the spectacle cases, the bags and the product sheets are specifically designed for this limited edition collection. This gives the whole collection a genuine feeling of exclusivity!
You can find more pictures at their official website, which is definitely worth a visit – it’s such a beautiful website, with amazing photos of the collection. Check it out (HERE).
Green is the new brown
Lately, we’ve seen a lot of frames in green nuances. It’s like a couple of years ago, when all the classic black frames became brown, and now they are turning into green. Green is the new brown?
