Campbell Eyewear Shop in Berlin

Today I ran into this lovely shop and brand called Campbell. Campbell is one of the oldest and most respected eyewear brands in the world, founded in 1816 by William Campbell. I can’t understand I haven’t explored this brand before!

Anyhow, they have this nice shop at Weinbergsweg 21 in Berlin, which is very small but with a great offer of both sunglasses and ophthalmic eyewear. The best ting is that you also can make a custom-made order! So if you prefer one of their models in another color or size, they can make it specially for you within two weeks. How cool?!

If you’re looking for vintage frames and are in Berlin, you should sure pass by Eberswalder Strasse. At the same street you will find Blue Eyes and OptiKing!

Blue Eyes:
Here you find a lot of frames from the 80’s and 90’s. Also, you will find a basket full of vintage frames to special price. Pictures I took:

OptiKing:

Here you will get a great shopping experience! The store is designed in an American/Hollywood-style from the 50’s and the frames follows the same theme. Pictures I took in the shop:

I’m in Berlin!

During this whole day I’ve been surrounded by MYKITA. I’ve visited the MYKITA Haus, where in particular everything is made. All from design, to production, quality control, graphic design, sales and marketing… you name it! I’ll show you pictures! But before, I want to share the photos I took at the MYKITA Store today:

If you’re in Berlin you sure have to visit this shop. It’s situated at Rosa-Luxemburg-Str. 6, in the same area as COS, American Apparel and other nice shops.

I’ll post some of my favorite frames from the shop in a next post…

Awesome colors in a pyramid.

Frida is checking out the frames.

We met the lovely Optometrist Alina.

All storage is from old Swiss Air boxes. Très chic!

We were here.

A Collaboration with Rad Hourani resluted in these Mylon frames called Rad. It’s a crazy shape and I dont think you could do this in acetate since the lens is slid in from above. Be sure to check out Mylon, we’ll probably see some great things in this material!

Jaques-Yves, another Mylon Collaboration with Bernhard Willhelm.
