The Many Ways Of Displaying Eyewear
Last year I wrote a post about Eyewear as an anywhere-detail and shared a photo of my eyewear on a hanger:
On that post I got a great comment from a reador about a special hanger from IKEA. Now that I moved to Berlin I actually bought this hanger and I’m now collecting my eyewear as an interior detail. Unfortunately I didn’t bring all of my glasses with me, so the hanger isn’t filled yet…
BLAC – Carbon Fibre Eyewear
An interesting material for eyewear is the Carbon Fibre. It’s very durable and also very light. On the picture you see the worlds first eyewear all made by carbon – Blac. Their collection is futuristic yet clean and very comfortable.
I love the idea of eyewear in odd materials!

The boutique Pour Vos Beaux Yeux on 10, rue Alexandre Mari in Nice, France carries eyewear from 1890 to 1900.

This is how I would describe Belgian eyewear brand Theo. The frames are sturdy and durable, the styles are bold and hard to place in a timeframe.
Theo had custom made Belgian chocolate made in a shape of a pair of round spectacles.
