Today we’re presenting round shades and as you might know by now Jasmin and I really love round glasses.
This year almost every brand has a round shade in their collection, which made it difficult for us to choose. But here is a sample of the coolest round shades!

Oliver Peoples and Japanese fashion designer Takahiro Miyashita teamed up for a collection called the SoloIst.
All frames are made of deadstock vintage materials, aged metal parts. And there are clip on sunglasses to match! These warm and dapper frames are currently only released in Japan, can be baught here.

Le Corbusier, pseudonym for Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, the famous French-Swiss architect and artist known for contibuting to what is called “Modern Architecture”. He was very loyal to one type of frame, in fact that type of glasses are called Le Corbusier or “Architect frames”.
This type of frame has lots of character, is bold and simple. A great feature is that even strong prescriptions look great in a round think frame like this. Frames inspired by the Le Corbusier frame:

Both Jasmin and I bought ourselves a new pair of glasses this weekend, and ironically we both chose a round, retro/vintage, golden metal frame:
Jasmin’s frame is the thin one, from Savile Row. Mine is the second one, it is a vintage frame from Beau Monde that I found in the Bågar & Glas in Gamla Stan (Old Town) of Stockholm.
Below you can see Jasmin wearing her new Savile Row, it suits exceptionally!
Bonocle.com couldn’t go to the Mido fair in Milano this weekend, but we are so excited about the new stuff we were told was shown there! Of course we’ll share everything new and exciting with you as soon as it arrives.

London based Cutler And Gross has yet another collaboration with a fashion brand. This spring they’ve collaborated with Cacharel: It’s one frame (Cutler And Gross’ own M0737?) in four different colors: Watermelon, Lemon, Nude and Pink. This spring I’m especially fond of the nude colors but pink is very sweet too.
As you might know by now, we have been visiting Vasuma to look at their latest news. Here is one of their coolest sunglasses, in a very special color: plum.
