Garrett Leight in Paris

In Paris I met Garrett Leight and Elena Doukas to see the Garrett Leight glasses. It was great to finally meet them since we at Bonocle like the frames so much! We had a great time and talked most of the time so I kinda forgot to take pictures.

What I can tell you is that great things are about to come! I am really really excited! Garrett is doing a great job, there are few models but all of them are truly well executed!

On the Street…Carnaby Street, London, UK

Very handsome man from Malta. Love his thick and beautifully contrast colored frames!

In Berlin I met Maja who was wearing these super over sized round sunglasses. I think she looks super feminine and cool in them!

On the Street…Norrlandsgatan

Lovely Savile Row Round, probably my favorite glasses right now. I added the colorful Windsor rings myself, there are so many different to chose from! Black like Harry Potter, red, blue, multi colored or take them off to expose the lovely gold! Match your glasses to any outfit!

In the Park…Kungsträdgården

Ran into pretty Alice in Kungsträdgården the other day. Love how she matches her vintage red tortoise Clubmaster inspired round shades with her lipstick and t-shirt. Also awesome feather earring!

New MYKITA Sun SS11

We had the chance of looking at the newest of the newest MYKITA sun collection. Now we really can’t wait for the sun to come back!

MYKITA is an übercool Berlin based eyewear brand making really comfortable sunglasses with excellent quality and durability. The metal frames are really light as they’re cut out out of a superthin sheat of steel and then milled into the right shape – this in combination of the screwless contruction (screws usually unscrew themselves) gives the MYKITA frames a very unique look and feel.

Lately we’ve seen lots of round retro-style shapes and colorful sunglasses in general from all eyewear brands! MYKITA interprets this in a very modern and sleek way:
