When I was in Venice I stopped by Ottico Carraro. It’s retty close to San Marco.
They carry many brands but they also design their own frames. really classic shapes in chunky and colorful acetate – both optical and sunglasses!

There you can find most of the top eyewear brands worth mentioning such as Oliver Peoples, Garrett Leight, MYKITA, Theo, Harry Lary’s, Thierry Lasry, just to name a few. They have a few stores in Bologna and this is one of them. Very nice staff too!

The lovely Caroline Abram that makes the beautiful eyewear accessories we’ve posted about a few times about also makes fantastic glasses.
Today I ran into this lovely shop and brand called Campbell. Campbell is one of the oldest and most respected eyewear brands in the world, founded in 1816 by William Campbell. I can’t understand I haven’t explored this brand before!
Anyhow, they have this nice shop at Weinbergsweg 21 in Berlin, which is very small but with a great offer of both sunglasses and ophthalmic eyewear. The best ting is that you also can make a custom-made order! So if you prefer one of their models in another color or size, they can make it specially for you within two weeks. How cool?!
